Causeway Ovens started in Portstewart for a simple reason: oven cleaning is hard work, and a one-person business can only do two or three a day before the driving eats the diary. Air fryers, on the other hand — those we can collect by the vanload.

Almost every home on the coast now has an air fryer, and almost nobody is cleaning them properly. The heating element gets coated in carbon, the basket bakes on grease, and eventually the food tastes a bit off. We collect them, strip them properly at our workshop, and drop them back when they're ready — usually within a few days.

Same for ovens — but on-site, because nobody wants their cooker leaving the house.
