Why bother getting it cleaned?
Air fryers cook at 200°C+ and trap every drop of oil that ever hit the basket. Here's what that means after a few months of regular use.
Carbon on the element
Splattered fat bakes onto the heating coil and sets harder every cook. That's where the smoke comes from — the burning carbon, not your dinner. It also makes the fryer trip and shut off mid-cook.
Crud blocks the airflow
Air fryers cook by blasting hot air around the basket. When the holes in the basket and crisper plate get clogged, the air can't move — food cooks unevenly, takes longer, and uses more electricity.
Safety-checked before return
While it's on the bench we test the element, fan and thermostat. If anything's borderline we let you know before you plug it back in. No surprises, no fire risk.
What you get
We collect your air fryer from your door at a time you pick, take it back to our workshop in Portstewart, fully dismantle and degrease every part, then drop it back to you when it's ready. Usually within a few days — we'll agree a return time when we collect.

How long are you away with it?
Usually a few days. We'll agree a return time with you when we collect — you'll never be wondering where it's got to.
Do I need to do anything to prepare it?
Nothing. Just leave it where we can get to it. Don't bother washing it — that's our job.
What if it's broken or won't turn on after?
We safety-test before return. If we caused damage, we'll replace it. Pre-existing faults we'll flag before we start.
How do I pay?
Cash, card or bank transfer on the day we return it. No deposit needed.
